Privacy Policy
How SignalDig handles account, service, security and website data.
Last updated ·
This Privacy Policy describes how SignalDig handles personal information when you visit the website, request access, sign in, or use the service. It does not cover third-party services that publish their own privacy notices.
Information we may collect
Depending on the features you use, we may process:
- Account information: identifiers and basic profile details returned by an authentication provider such as Google or GitHub, plus the account and session records needed to operate the service.
- Service activity: requests, selected market and language parameters, feature usage, timestamps, response status, and technical records needed for reliability, abuse prevention and support.
- Device and log information: IP address, browser or device type, referring page, approximate region, security events and server logs.
- Communications: information you choose to provide when requesting access, support or exercising a privacy right.
- Cookies and similar storage: essential session and security cookies, language preference and theme preference. We will identify optional analytics or marketing technologies before enabling them.
Do not include secrets, payment-card data, health information or other sensitive personal information in research prompts or support messages unless SignalDig explicitly requests it through an appropriate protected flow.
How we use information
We use information to provide and secure accounts, answer requests, operate and improve product features, diagnose failures, prevent misuse, communicate material service changes, and comply with applicable legal obligations.
We do not sell personal information. We do not use private account content to create advertising profiles. If a future use is materially different from the purposes described here, we will update this policy and seek consent when required.
Authentication and service providers
SignalDig may rely on authentication, hosting, infrastructure, security and monitoring providers. They may process limited information on our behalf under their own contractual and security obligations. When you choose Google or GitHub authentication, that provider also processes information under its own terms and privacy policy.
Market observations returned by SignalDig may originate from public websites or data services. Those sources remain subject to their own terms, availability and privacy practices. SignalDig's output should not be used to identify, profile or harass individuals.
Legal bases and choices
Where applicable law requires a legal basis, processing may rely on performance of a contract, legitimate interests in operating and securing the service, compliance with law, or consent. You can decline optional processing or withdraw consent without affecting earlier lawful processing.
Retention
We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes above, including security, dispute resolution and legal compliance. Retention periods depend on the type of record, account status and applicable requirements. Data may remain temporarily in encrypted backups before routine deletion cycles complete.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, including access controls, secure session handling and monitoring. No online service can guarantee absolute security. Keep API keys and account credentials confidential and report suspected compromise through the official support channel when available.
International processing
Infrastructure and providers may process information in countries other than your own. Where required, we use appropriate contractual or legal safeguards for cross-border transfers.
Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing, receive a portable copy, withdraw consent, or complain to a data-protection authority. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling a request. Account controls and an official support route will be provided as those service features become available.
Children
SignalDig is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has provided personal information, use the official support route so it can be reviewed and removed where appropriate.
Changes
We may update this policy as the product, providers or legal requirements change. The date above identifies the latest revision. Material changes will be communicated through the website or service where appropriate.
